Each staircase is tailored to your design vision, precision-engineered offsite, and delivered as a single sweeping structure, ready for finishing on site.
Our curved concrete stairs are designed to accept a variety of high-end finishes including timber, marble, or stone, with balustrades and handrails in steel, glass or hardwood fitted post-installation by your preferred contractor.
Please note: All finishing materials and fittings are to be supplied and applied by the client or their appointed trades following Kallisto’s staircase installation.
Engineered Elegance - Crafted for Individuality
Using a suite of industry-leading, palletised adjustable moulds, we can produce staircases in a range of geometries, including circular, spiral, elliptical, dogleg (winder), and hybrid forms, with or without straight treads. These are typically manufactured as storey-height units with swept soffits, precast in our controlled offsite facility to ensure quality, strength, and consistency.
Depending on design intent, stairs are produced either as:
- Complete precast flights
- Or individual cantilever steps, built into an adjacent structural wall
Helical, spiral, and curved flights are cast inverted with a hand-trowelled soffit, requiring only a final plaster skim finish after installation.

Helical Staircases
Helical staircases, often simply referred to as curved staircases, sweep gracefully around a central void. With their continuous "C" or elliptical shapes and consistent radii, helical designs create a bold architectural gesture and are ideal for grand entrances and open-plan interiors.

Cantilever Stairs
Cantilever staircases give the appearance of floating steps. Drawing inspiration from 17th–19th century stone masonry, our precast cantilever treads are anchored into a supporting wall, transferring load through torsion rather than direct support. This allows for waists as slim as 50mm, achieving a light, modern aesthetic with exceptional structural performance.

Spiral Staircases
Spiral staircases wind tightly around a central column, forming a compact helix. Unlike curved or helical stairs, spiral treads radiate from a fixed central core, making them perfect for smaller footprints without compromising on visual impact.
